Prawns marinated with chilli and lime, skewered and barbequed.
8- 10 kings prawns, shells removed
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil/ vegetable oil
1 clove of garlic, crushed
½ tsp black pepper powder
1 tbsp honey
1-2 red chillies, deseeded and finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh lime juice
Salt to taste.

Mix together crushed garlic, olive oil, black pepper powder, honey, chillies and lime juice in a large non-metallic bowl and stir. Season with salt if necessary.
Add prawns in marinade and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Then lift prawns out of marinade and thread onto skewers.
Brush the grill with little oil. Arrange skewers on the grid of the grill pan and brush with remaining marinade in between. Grill them for 8-10 minutes until prawns are cooked through and turned pink in colour. Turn twice while grilling.
Serve with lime wedges.
